Welcome to Western Aviation based on Historic Felts Field Airport (KSFF) conveniently located to downtown Spokane, Coeur d' Alene Idaho and the Inland Empire.
Originally established in 1974 as Western Avionics the inland Empire's oldest FAA approved avionics repair station. Over the years our business has grown to include aircraft maintenance, parts, aircraft fueling, storage and a thriving pilot supply shop. Because we evolved into a full service FBO we changed our name to Western Aviation in 2006. Whatever your aviation related needs may be our friendly staff is ready to serve you.
Two Locations on the Field:
We have two locations on the field (see map). Depending on your needs advise Ground Control of the location you desire to taxi to. Our Main Facility located at the west-end houses our Office, Avionics. Maintenance, Parts, and Pilots Shop. Our Line Service and Pilots Lounge is located in the Main Terminal in the center of the airport. Our Self-Service Fueling is located 50 yards west of the Main Terminal. For transient aircraft please park on the ramp in front of the Main Terminal. Overnight parking is located directly north of the Main Terminal across taxiway Alpha. We can arrange for rental car pick-up at the Main Terminal. There is limited ramp access and parking at our west-end Main Facility.
Hours of Operation:
Our Main Facility is open Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Our Pilot Shop is open seasonly on Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm. Our Line Service is open seven days a week from 8 am to 5 pm. After hours fueling is available upon request.
After Hours Main Terminal Access:
In the event you need to access the Maim Terminal after hours to use the Bathrooms or Pilot Lounge you will need to enter the Felts Field tower frequency into the keypad next to the Main Terminal entry door.
U.S. Customs and Immigration Services:
Felts Field is an International Airport offering U.S. Customs and Immigration services. You must call them in advance at 509-353-2833 to arrange for an officer to meet you at their facility located in the transient parking area directly north of the Main Terminal.
